I can't believe the cliffhanger for this season's ER!!! The way it ended was so cruel to viewers!!! Throughout the whole last half of the episode, my heart was thumping almost audibly in my chest. There were even moments when I found it hard to breathe. And they didn't give answers to anything! I think someone is supposed to be killed off. Will it be big, gentle Jerry, who risked his life to save a child who was alone in the ER? Will it be Abby, or her unborn baby? Will Sam's ex-husband kill her and their son as he and his fellow prison escapee flee from the police? I don't think I can stand not knowing all summer! I will definitely be anticipating the new season. The premiere will be a must-not-be-missed episode.
Hippie, Hippie - Hooray!
At least The Amazing Race ended on a great note! Congratulations to B.J. and Tyler, the hippies! They arrived at the final Roadblock after JEric (the perverted frat boys), but were able to pull ahead and win the million. RaYo placed a consistent third.
The final three teams were on The Early Show this morning, along with AR host, Phil Keoghan. B.J. and Tyler continued to show their fun-loving selves in the way they dressed. Tyler wore a white Miami Vice-style suit with a red shirt and a yellow tie; B.J. wore kingly purple fur-trimmed robes and a matching hat. His quip: "This is just how we dress now. We're rich. And we're not going to hide it." Classic.
After the hippies each got their $500,000 checks, Ray proposed to Yolanda, and she said yes. Anyone know how many non-winners have proposed to their teammate after the race?
In the Air Tonight
As I write this, Billy is somewhere over the Atlantic, flying to London, then on to Athens. The boys and I miss him already. It's going to be a long three weeks, but at least we have a full calendar to keep us occupied.
