10 Fun Games
I've been extremely busy, but it looks like things are slowing down some - for this week, at least.

Here's the latest Ten on Tuesday: 10 Fun Games to Play at Parties. Coming from a game-lover, though, I can't stop at just 10!

1. Apples to Apples - This is the best game!
2. Scene It?
3. Cranium
4. Scopa - an Italian card game
5. Rook
6. Trivial Pursuit - any version. We like to play the classic version, the Pop Culture DVD version, and The Lord of the Rings version.
7. Nerts
8. Buzzword
9. Mancala - Granted, this is only a two-player game, but you could play it tournament style.
10. Loaded Questions - We don't have this game yet, but it's tons of fun to play. This would be a great one to play with Jay and Allison!
11. Imaginiff - We don't have this one either, but it's a lot of fun, too.
12. Compatibility - This is an old game, but it's still one of my favorites.
13. Picture This! Picture Picture - I think this is the name. Mama found this game at a garage sale, and it's so much fun! Caleb loved playing along, too. I may have to see if I can find one on eBay. Update: I called Mama to get the name, and I bid on one on eBay. I'll know tonight if it's mine or not. Updated Update: I won the bid! My new game is on its way!
14. Jenga
15. Phase 10

List Update: These are the ones I forgot about.
16. Scattergories - Billy mentioned this one last night and couldn't believe I forgot about it. I can't believe I forgot it either! We have the original version, the refill version (which isn't as fun), and the Bible version (which is really hard).
17. Hoopla - a Cranium game
18. Planet Hollywood
19. Scrabble
20. Balderdash
21. Pocket Farkel - Some friends of ours gave us this for Christmas one year a long time back. It's just six small dice in a film canister and a set of rules. It's addictive! I misplaced it once and couldn't find it for the longest time, but now it's safely tucked away with all our other games in the storage ottoman. Well, all the games that fit. Others are stacked here and there.

Caleb has always loved to play games, but now he's getting into playing "older" games like Uno, checkers, and Yahtzee. I bought him a 20 Questions for Kids game at a garage sale a few weeks ago and he loves it. We'll have to get it down and play again sometime soon.

What are some games you like to play?
